Frontend Engineer role at SiftHub, owning frontend architecture, performance, reliability, and user experience across the web app, Chrome extensions, Microsoft add-in, and Google Sheets integration.

Requirements
3 years of production experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of modern frontend stack including React, TypeScript, Redux or Flux, Webpack, and testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
Experience building for platforms beyond web apps such as browser extensions, Office add-ins, or spreadsheet integrations.
Understanding of platform constraints, lifecycle, and edge cases across Chrome Extension APIs, Office.js, Google Sheets API, and service workers.
Strong opinion on component design and state management, with the ability to reason about trade-offs and not just implement.
Experience with performance profiling and optimization in production environments.
Writes tests as a core part of development, not as an afterthought.
Strong grasp of UI principles with the ability to build clean, accessible, and maintainable interfaces, and clearly articulate design decisions.
Currently working in the SaaS domain.
Currently working at a product-based organization
Responsibilities
Own the SiftHub Chrome extension, Microsoft add-in, and React/TypeScript web application layer — architecture, performance, reliability, and cross-surface compatibility.
Work across Chrome extension APIs, Office add-in constraints, Google Sheets integration, and web app parity.
Own component systems and design token infrastructure that the team builds on.
Own frontend performance including load times, rendering, memory, and extension lifecycle.
Collaborate with NLP and Backend engineers to integrate AI outputs into clean, responsive UIs.
Maintain the frontend code quality bar through reviews, patterns, and technical standards.
Work on genuinely hard AI problems, not CRUD apps.
Work directly with founders.
Use best-in-class dev tools and AI assistants to do your best work.
