Job description
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software testing
- Strong background in Manual Testing
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Playwright (automation testing)
- Prior experience in leading or mentoring QA teams
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities across product development lifecycle
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright
- Validate data integration workflows with ERP/SAP systems
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
- Identify, track, and manage defects using standard defect tracking tools
- Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC processes
- Drive test strategy, test coverage, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide early feedback on quality risks
- Strong expertise in Manual Testing concepts and methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework
- Experience in testing web applications and microservices-based architecture
- Good understanding of REST APIs testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Experience in data integration testing with ERP/SAP systems
- Familiarity with Java-based applications (basic understanding preferred)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for debugging/testing
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration is a plus
- Experience working in Linux environments is an advantage
- Exposure to AI-driven testing approaches, MCP AI agents, or intelligent automation tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-based environment
- High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering (CSE / IT / MCA or related fields)
